About Pia Thornton: After graduating with an Hons. Degree in Visual Communications in 2009 followed in 2011 by a Higher Diploma in Education for Art and Design, Pia has taught primary school children as well as young adults for the past 14 years. Pia is the resident Visual Arts teacher and a resource teacher for 1st and 2nd year pupils in Castleisland Community College. Pia has taught at PLC level, teaching Level 6 Graphic Design. After qualifying as a Play Therapist in 2022, Pia currently holds clinics in Listowel Family Resource Centre and O'Brennan National School, Ballymacelligott, Tralee. Not forgetting the most important job of all, Pia is a mom of two energetic boys!
