Functional Movement Through Play

Functional Movement Through Play event at Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest 2023

Functional Movement Through Play

This dynamic session invites members of the KCYS international group to explore functional movement through play — a creative and energising way to connect with your body, build confidence, and strengthen teamwork. Through playful challenges, movement-based games, and group activities, we’ll focus on improving balance, coordination, and body awareness — all while having fun and building connection with others. What to Expect: Interactive games that support physical wellbeing and mental focus Playful exercises designed to increase mobility, strength, and flexibility Opportunities to relax, connect, and build trust within the group A supportive space where everyone can join in at their own pace This session is about more than movement — it's about using play to recharge, feel good, and move with purpose. Note: This is a closed session for members of the KCYS international group only. No previous experience needed — bring comfortable clothes and an open mind! Venue: KCYS, Denny Street, Tralee.
