This short programme of four poems, along with the musical melodies of Celtic Grace, takes you back in time and recreates some echoes of the times past. Castle Ward is an oasis for the spirit - a place where tranquility comes at you like a soft summer breeze. Situated on the shores of Strangford Lough, just a few miles from Downpatrick, County Down. From my first visit back in 1994 to the present day it leaves me in a quiet place and at one with nature. Its the type of place you want to stay in a little longer. I was delighted then when the National Trust at Castle Ward asked me to write some poetry based on some of the key influencers and its natural beauty.
