Mindful Well-being – Connecting with each other and with nature

Mindful Well-being – Connecting with each other and with nature event at Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest 2023

Mindful Well-being – Connecting with each other and with nature

We will meet in the centre canteen where we will have refreshments and carry out an activity - getting to know each other by finding out what each participant has in common with another, the person with the most will win a small prize! Next is some mindfulness and breathing techniques. We will then go for a walk in the garden, we will also have some indoor activities such as table tennis and relaxation techniques. We will use our 5 senses to take notice of what the season offers us, a bird’s nest from a local farm, holly berries, examples of wood turning. We will learn about the life cycle of nature – seeds and plants from the garden and our surroundings. We will plant these seeds and you will be given an opportunity to take home your plants.
