On Feirm Ground 2 Training Programme is a bespoke farmers’ health training programme that equips frontline agricultural professionals with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to engage and signpost farmers on health and wellbeing. This programme is funded by Department of Agriculture, Department of Health and HSE and targets agricultural professionals and service providers who interact with famers on the yard, in the office and/or over the phone. By attending this training, you will: get the tools to identify & handle farmers who may be struggling, so when you visit a farm and find a distressed client you can confidently support & signpost them; you will get an opportunity to reflect, connect, learn, and share your knowledge and experiences with other agricultural professionals; you will familiarize yourself with the support services available for farmers in distress.
